God, it's amazing how much better I am at archery than I was the first time around.
Part of this, I have been told, is probably because I spent a significant and consequential portion of my first playthrough buck-naked with three hearts. As a result of this coupled with my hoarding tendencies, I developed the ability to headshot very quickly because my alternative was being one-shot by every blue bokoblin that got within striking distance.
So my aim is very good.
I also now understand the bullet-time mechanic of falling archery, which I previously learned while flailing about Vah Ruta trying to figure out what to hit and getting positively mauled by Cryonis blocks.
This time, I came prepared - fresh out of the Faron Highlands with an untouched Phrenic Bow and forty of the twenty shock arrows the game suggested I should gather before facing the Divine Beast.
I used exactly four of them to disable the orbs across two trips up the waterfalls - one trip for each side. Though the game wasn't wholly wrong about the number of shock arrows I should bring, as I used another twenty or so on Waterblight Ganon. So I'm glad I had the extras! I then proceeded north to Akkala, because I want ancient arrows so bad. Those things are god tier. And apparently, my misadventures in the south have paid off, because I arrived with enough shafts to make 10 Ancient Arrows.
Guardians eat your heart out.
Last but not least, I did the labyrinth to the north of the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. I don't know how you're supposed to do it. I climbed up on top of the box with the shrine in it and dropped down into all the nooks and crannies until I found one that led inside. I guess you could actually do the maze, but who has that kind of time? And I got a never-before-seen Barbarian Hat! Does this mean there are other Barbarian clothes out there somewhere? Given previous adventures in clothing, signs point to yes.

(It isn't the only labyrinth. It is the one I found hardest, partly because I did terribly at marking my route.)
Forgot that was the barbarian helm tho. Skullhead!
