I'm here, I guess?

Tumblr's on fire and Pillowfort's issues give me an increasing lack of confidence, so here I am.
I may start migrating some things eventually. Hey, anyone have any recommendations for slightly more stable sites than Pillowfort to host art on?

Date: 2018-12-06 07:25 (UTC)Twitter is one option for hosting art, although the interface and organization is less than ideal. I haven't logged into DeviantArt in a long while but I assume it is continuing along (perhaps limping along? I don't know). Pixiv is another option to look into. AO3 allows you to upload images, including NSFW art, although the overall interface isn't really optimized for art.

Date: 2018-12-07 03:39 (UTC)Twitter is like... I've described it as "everything I disliked about Tumblr as a fandom platform but more." More polarization, more transience, more horrible trolls, more visibility (I was quite comfortable having my blog be unsearchable for years).
Unfortunately, two fandoms I am part of (Overwatch and Critical Role) are heavily twitter-based. For some reason. Ugh.
DeviantArt does still exist! I was under the impression Pixiv is Japanese. And honestly hosting art on Ao3 feels like trying to cook a delicious stew on a cookie sheet. You might be able to. But it's not designed for that and it's going to make a mess. So I'm leaning towards DeviantArt right now even though it feels so much like I've spontaneously reverted to like 2010 or something.
