I would describe Mugglenet as sufficiently messy to make me think Tumblr was not just the normal state of fandom but a fairly civil platform. This is probably more of a condemnation of the former than celebration of the latter (Harry/Hermione is still a NOTP, Bad memories.).
I was still lying about my age on Facebook when Strikethrough happened, so by the time I was considering making an LJ, most of the site had fled en masse to parts unknown. I was just some sort of anonymous fandom archaeologist, picking through comms long dead looking for Good Omens fic....
Which is to say, not everyone's coming back. Some people are just showing up super lost with a haunted expression and a bindle full of tumblr crossposts...
But I'm definitely here to stay. I edited my theme's CSS. That's how you know I'm in too deep.
